About the product
What is the CatWalker?
The CatWalker is an interactive feeder designed to physically and mentally stimulate your cat. To get their food, your cat must spin a tube, which encourages them to move, play, and think while eating.
Does it work with all kibble?
Yes. The CatWalker was designed to work with the vast majority of kibble, including several dental kibbles. Many tests have been conducted to ensure that their size can pass through the tube correctly. Generally, kibbles smaller than approximately 13 mm (≈ 1/2 inch) in diameter work perfectly.
If your kibble is particularly large, you can simply check its diameter or contact us to confirm compatibility.
Does the mat wear out quickly?
No. Unlike a fixed scratching post, the CatWalker's mat rotates when the cat climbs on it. Since it is in motion, the cat cannot pull directly on the material, which greatly reduces wear and tear.
Our own cats have been using it several times a day for over a year and a half, and there is practically no wear. The fibers simply become a little fluffier over time, without affecting the mat's function.
What types of cats is it suitable for?
The CatWalker is suitable for the vast majority of cats, whether young, adult, or senior. It was designed to work with cats' natural hunting and curiosity instincts, regardless of their breed or energy level.
Will my cat understand how to use it?
In most cases, yes! Cats are naturally curious and learn quickly. A little patience and a few demonstrations may be all it takes. Some customers send us videos from the very first day of use!
How does the CatWalker stimulate my cat?
The CatWalker transforms mealtime into an interactive game. Your cat must walk or spin a wheel to release kibble. This engages their body and mind, while preventing boredom or overeating.
What is the CatWalker made of?
Each CatWalker is handcrafted from premium cherry plywood, stained to reveal the natural wood grain. We use durable and pet-safe materials.
Does the CatWalker make noise?
Like any moving mechanical system, the CatWalker produces a slight sound when the cat spins the tube. In practice, this noise is comparable to a normal conversation and quickly becomes discreet in the home environment.
